I'm sure that there were a lot of deserving players on all of our teams who got left off. That just speaks well of the type of talent we have in this conference.

It was a pleasant surprise for me. I think, that out of anyone in the conference, Coach Wagner was one of the most deserving to get that honor. To be named coach of the year with him, I think that's pretty cool.

It's going to be like that regardless. We mark our calendars; they mark their calendars, and then we count off the days until we meet.

It just came down to people being in the right place at the right time and doing the right things. It was good to see that finally.

It seems, like with the guys, there will be a chunk of teams at the top (of the conference) and a chunk at the bottom.

(Southern Wayne) traveled a great distance to come here and play us. So we wanted to give them as competitive a game as possible.

Ever since we put ourselves back in the hunt for first place, we've been playing like we've got something to prove. Each game, we've been playing harder and we finally get to feel what it's like to be conference champions.

We had problems that didn't even allow us to get to the goal. We weren't recognizing opportunities to counterattack from the middle of the field.

We had so many opportunities to score; we just couldn't take advantage of it. We got a lot of shots off, but we just couldn't put them into the goal.

We showed good pressure on defense, and good movement on offense, both of which are our goals each time we play. So that was good to see.
